“Morning, everyone! Come in!” says Steve as Judy, Ray, Zig, and the guys enter his office for their Tuesday morning meeting.
“Morning!” replies Zig before anyone else. “That event you spoke of briefly yesterday afternoon, sounded exciting?” she adds, glancing towards Steve.
“I know, right! I’m excited about it, too,” he replies as everyone sits around his large table.
“Have we really been invited to the headquarters of Silence in Bern, Switzerland?” asks Max, unable to hide his excitement.
“Yes! Because Silence are amazed by you four young people because of your enthusiasm for ZandaBot Initiative,” replies Steve, bluntly.
“Also! Gabriel and Monika have spoken about you on many occasions to the Silence Highers, including during their various meetings with Silence agents and engineers!”
“These Silence Highers are the highest order of the Silence organisation, because they are the direct family descendants of the original founding members of Silence!” explains Steve, making all four guys smile.
“And two of those Silence Higher members have requested to meet you guys in person!” smiles Judy, looking at Zig and her friends.
“Yes! Mr Dimitri Alexei, a Russian finance manager, and Mrs Emilia Marrinoff, granddaughter of Helga Marrinoff, one of the lead female German architects who helped design the Silence headquarters building, The Marrinoff Igon, in Burn, Switzerland!” adds Steve.
“The Silence headquarters is named in honour of Helga Marrinoff because she died the very week the building was completed, and Helga was largely responsible for many of the building’s unique qualities and technical capabilities,” adds Judy.
“What a shame!” says Zig quietly. “Helga must have known she was dying and held onto life long enough to see the completion of what could have been her dream. She must have been a courageous and brilliant woman!” adds Zig.
“Yes! She was, by all accounts,” replies Steve. “The Marrinoff Igon was Helga’s biggest accomplishment and life’s goal as far as architecture was concerned. She was a unique woman and a brilliant visionary with an exceptionally creative mind who was deeply respected and loved by the original founding members of Silence!” he continues.
Steve’s office suddenly falls silent in respect and thought for Helga Marrinoff.
“Didn’t you say that we’re going to the Marrinoff Hotel?” mutters Max moments later.
“Yes! Because that’s how we’ll gain access to the Marrinoff Igon?” replies Steve, turning to look at his friend.
“All will become clear when we get to Bern,” adds Judy as Ray smiles.
“But what’s so special about us?” asks Dal, looking around his friends. “Why have we been invited to the Silence headquarters?” he adds.
“Well! First off! You’re not the only ones going to Switzerland?” adds Steve. “Albertina, Nuno, Nero, and Nazz will accompany you on this trip, along with Judy, Ray and me!” he explains.
“This is a massive opportunity and honour for all of us to have been chosen to visit our headquarters. And I do mean OUR headquarters because we are all Silence Members, don’t forget!” says Judy, excitedly.
“Secondly!” says Steve. “Because all four of you continue to expand your skills as you work in the ZandaBot Intuitive, creating content and systems to help our global general public connect and engage with our ZandaBot project!”
“Your biggest advantage is?” adds Steve. “Many of the Silence Highers are immensely impressed by how you’ve all bonded with the ZandaBots from the start. Zig has bonded with Albertina, Max with Nuno, Nari with Nero, and Dal with Nazz. But most importantly, each of those individual ZandaBots has formed a bond with each of you individually and collectively!” he continues.
