“You’ll be where!” shouts Nari as Dal plays a street racing game on his console.
“In Seoul this Saturday!” replies Zieg. “Me, Max, Steve and Joan are visiting an AI Voice Tech company in Seoul, and Steve wants to see you guys as well. It’s all a bit short notice,” replies Zieg.
“Super Cool!” says Nari. “Let me know your times, and we’ll pick you up from the airport,” she adds, getting distracted.
“I’ll tell you some intel about Joan when we visit. And Yeah! I’ll check with Judy about our flight times. We’ll see you guys then. Bye!” replies Zieg before hanging up.
Friday morning, Zieg and Max leave their apartment to meet Ray, Steve, and Joan standing in the car park of their apartment block.
“Afternoon, guys!” says Zieg as she and Max get into Ray’s car after loading their luggage into the trunk with Ray’s help. “Or should I say evening?” adds Zieg.
Steve and Joan greet the guys as Ray returns to his driving seat.
“All set, guys?” says Ray, starting his engine and indicating before pulling out of the car park to head for the airport.
Everyone answers Ray in various forms of agreement because there’s a lot of holiday excitement in the air.
Zieg and the guys catch their flight and fly through the night before landing at Seoul airport on Saturday morning to find Nari and Dal waiting for them as they clear customs.
“Zieg!” shouts Nari, making two people standing close to her jump.
Zieg and Max shuffle as fast as they can, wheeling their suitcases between people as they head for Nari and Dal to greet each other with big hugs, handshakes and more because it’s been months since they’ve met.
Steve and Joan join the happy group, and the hugs and handshakes start again before all six guys leave for their journey to Nari and Dal’s apartment and Steve and Joan’s hotel.
As the guys travel, Dal makes arrangements with Steve and Joan to meet later that evening before dropping them off at their hotel.
“Hi Steve, Joan. Come in!” says Nari, answering her door Sunday afternoon.
Steve and Joan get comfortable on the couple’s sofa, as Nari, Dal, Zieg, and Max do the same on other comfy furniture.
“Nari, Dal, it’s great to see you guys again. I know we had a PippsApp call last Thursday. But I always prefer face-to-face meetings,” says Steve.
“Yeah!” agrees Dal. “I’m an old-school face-to-face kind of guy as well,” he adds, making all the guys smile.
“Tell them? Tell them!” shouts Zieg, clapping softly and focusing everyone’s attention on Steve.
“Ha!” chuckles Steve at Zieg’s excitement.
“Nari, Dal, would you like to accompany me, Zieg, Max and Joan tomorrow morning to an important meeting here in Seoul?” asks Steve, looking at the guys.
Nari sits back in her chair.
“Where and who is this meeting with?” asks Nari as curiosity grabs her.
“You’re gonna like this?” says Max, short and sweet.
“T.Vodo?” says Steve, not saying another word as silence fills the air.
“Ji-Min?” says Dal.
“The very man!” answers Steve, smiling at Dal.
“Wow! T.Vodo. Technology Voice On Demand Organisation!” says Nari, knowing a little about the company.
“Something big, I presume?” she adds.
