Three weeks after meeting Mrs Prue, Joan.
“Zieg, Max, wakey, wakey. We’re going to be late!” shouts Nari, sticking her head out of Zieg and Max’s kitchen as she and Dal make breakfast for all four guys.
Nari and Dal are visiting their best friends and Mr Swan from Chuckle Technologies Ltd in the United Kingdom because Zieg and her boyfriend have told Mr Swan how Nari and Dal are working closely with them on their new collective project.
Nari and Dal are helping by creating paper sketches, digital imagery, and other types of content for the website, which the four guys are collectively designing as Zieg continues to write her stories.
“Okay! Okay! We’re moving,” replies Zieg, as she starts shaking Max.
“I’m awake. I heard,” mumbles Max, turning toward Zieg to give her a quick cuddle before getting out of bed.
The four youngsters eat breakfast together, then take turns showering and getting ready for what promises to be an exciting day.
“Morning, Mr Swan,” say Zieg and Max simultaneously as they enter the London office reception area of Chuckle Technologies Ltd to find their CEO sitting in a comfy seat in front of the tall glass-fronted office window, enjoying some morning sun as he flicks through the daily news on his tablet.
“Aarrhh! Good morning, guys,” replies Mr Swan, standing to greet the four excited teenagers and flicking his eyes around the group.
“I thought I’d wait for you here because I’m excited to meet your friends, Zieg,” he adds, smiling.
“Oh! That’s nice! You’re not excited to see me and Max!” jokes Zieg, standing with her hands on her hips, making Max and Mr Swan laugh loudly.
Nari and Dal are shocked at Zieg acting so brazen toward her boss and CEO.
“This is Nari and Dal!” says Max, now calm again.
“The two brilliant individuals and wonderful people we told you about,” adds Max, making Nari and Dal shudder with this formality.
“It’s nice to meet you, Nari and Dal,” says Mr Swan, offering to shake hands with Nari first and then Dal.
“Likewise, Mr Swan. I’m happy to meet you, sir,” says Nari, bowing slightly and then shaking Mr Swan’s hand.
“Yes, sir. I am very pleased to meet you too,” adds Dal, as he bows slightly before shaking hands with Mr Swan.
“Guys, Please! Can we use first names and keep our meeting informal? That’s how Zieg, Max, and myself started our working relationship, and we’ve kept it that way, friendly and informal,” says Mr Swan, looking at Nari and Dal.
“Wow! Er! Sure! Please call me Nari,” she answers, surprised by her new acquaintance.
“Yeah! Call me Dal,” he adds, also taken aback by this unusual CEO.
“Great!” says Steve, smiling at his new acquaintances before Zieg and Max.
“Right! There we go. That all went well. Don’t you think Zieg?” asks Steve before chuckling.
“Yep!” smiles Zieg as Max laughs.
“See! I told you he’s cool,” says Zieg toward Nari and Dal, who are starting to relax a little.
“Let’s go to my office for an informal chat,” suggests Steve, gesturing toward the elevator before leading the group.
All four guys follow Steve as Zieg links arms with Nari while chuckling about her CEO’s informal style at this first greeting.
Then Max laughs at Dal because of his facial expression, raising his eyebrows toward Steve in disbelief.
